THE POETRY WICH I LIKE AT THE MOMENT :

The End of the WorldThere is a weeping in the world as if the loving God had died and the leaden shadows which sink lower weigh as heavily as the grave.   Come, we want to hide nearer to one another. Life lies in all hearts as if in coffins.  There! We want to kiss each other deeply. There throbs a longing in the world - therein we must die.   SettleSometimes it is enough
to settle
into an ordinary life,
to drink water
instead of wine
in a fancy restaurant
or to settle for
senseless, numbing
relationships
in place
of establishing
a home.
Who would care
when years from now
in the twilight
of our existance,
we die alone -
no parents,
no siblings,
no children -
not even a God
who cast us naked
and hungry
into a despairing world?
Blackness
at the beginning
and desperation
at the end.
We are unprepared.
No remedy for
too much hurt inside.
So it is enough
to settle
for occasional friends
and selfish partners
ready to force
their lies into
our innocent ears.   The Devil in WinterThe devil in winter
goes riding
over the gentle,
soft, virgin snow -
cloven footprints
burning along
on the trail
and a shiny, black
nightmare stallion -
pawing, snorting,
pushing forward
without hesitence.
They are one
on this ride -
driven, inoportune...
Look out!
the window
and see them there
side by side
in their beauty
for evil has
it's ways
and it's beauty...
in the cold, in the snow
to call you
from your comfortable life,
wake you up
from sleep
and with it's wiles
make you forget
why the fiery one
has arrived.
Stay away!
or come in -
I can already
hear the knock
at the door...
all the same,
all the

Silent TearsSilent tears
the most
inexplicable
things
in all of this
world.
A river flows
from my spirit
as still and deep
as underground
waters
in streams
of blood
of love
and desire -
all fine things -
never to surface -
stay buried
beneath...
Here,
when a soul
weeps,
that sound
only heard
in heaven
and hell
so near
the center
and gone in
a heartbeat,
silently.
My heart
weeps
silently
into my soul
for no one
must know
the pain...   BlindIt is a
crushing sadness -
crushing, consuming
as a fire
in the spirit,
smothered by
black autumn leaves
in the snow -
it smolders so.
No fire
No flame
Just stale smoke,
curling
its fingers
into blind eyes
until
it dies.
So that
I do not care
if the stars
shine at night
or the bare
winter branches
tattoo their design
upon my door...
Just unreal
sounds-
must abound
in solitude,
in silence,
in darkness...   Not SorryI'm not sorry,
least of all
for nights
like these
and the
pale moon
which smiles
in solitude
or the
single star
which is
my intense
and solitary
spirit...
I am not sorry.
For what?
For this poem
with which
I must atone
for night breezes
that cool
and tickle
my skin...
What sin
is that
that muddles
my mind
and makes
me think
of what
could be?
But no!
These feelings
grow...
I am not sorry
for imagining
your touch
so much
that I
lay awake
this night
and dream
for what
could be
and what
could seem...
It is only
a moonbeam.

Not sorry...
