I was restoring old photo images. Many of them were studio photos. Newly married couples. Parents, siblings. with varied backgrounds. Painted Gardens. theaters receptions. beautiful lakes ... in many cases if you looked right you could see that the clothes were not of their own size or had clothes that do not fit well. The study was give them for a while and often the photographer retouched painting hand details as arrangements on shirts or ties knots. The photos were reminders for relatives and friends who were thousands of miles. None of them exists today, not even the loved ones to whom they were intended. But the memory remains. eyes looking to see friends beyond the paper. This image reminds me of that time.
I'm so glad that this work reminds you this time. And your comment is so touching ! Yes, photographies area way toremember ourmissing relatives. And it'salso a way toremember ourtime together, joys and sorrows... A way to live again these moments... Thank you for your wonderful comment my friend !
Oh yes, amazing how quickly DA changes things... the which itself had only the h.. missing, it could have been said like you did, but then I think it definitely needed the "of" at the end and well the spelling of which... but don't you worry, I suck sometimes with my English, I only notice the mistakes after posting messages, so annoying!! lol
yes! so we show them how foreigners can master their language better than themselves! but mind, thinking that hardly anyone knows how to write the correct word anymore they'll think we're making a mistake with the apostrophe there! lol! Oh well, we should be of the few literate ones who'll know and laugh about their ignorance!
lol, I do not master English well enough, I think, to speak English better than themselves. But hey, it's true that I find it funny the "your welcome". I always wanted to meet : "My welcome? what do you mean ?" lol. For cons, I also saw that you could read and write French. So, English, French, German, Spanish, you're a citizen of the world ! True.
